Bear Creek Retreat is a Texas Bed and Breakfast located only minutes from downtown Austin. Enjoy the comfort of the whole house for you and your guests. Come indulge yourself in luxury with our home-made hot fudge, complimentary beverages, thick bath sheets, personalized robes, and the largest bed in Texas! We also have a theraputic massage room, wood burning fireplace, hot tub, plasma TV with sattelite, VCR and DVD players, fully equipped kitchen, and a wrap-a-round porch. Bear Creek Retreat is surrounded by hundreds of acres of Texas hillcountry that can be explored at your leisure.

Turn left onto Carpenter Lane and drive approximately one mile to the end of the road. Proceed through the open orange gate at the top of the hill. Bear Creek Retreat is in the blue house. If you are coming from North IH-35, exit Onion Creek and turn Rt. off of the access rd on FM 1626. Then turn Rt. onto Bliss Spillar Rd. (the 4th stop light) and drive 1.3 miles to Carpenter Lane. Turn left onto Carpenter Lane and drive approximately 1 mile to the end of the road. Proceed through the open orange gate at the top of the hill. Bear Creek Retreat is in the blue house. If you are coming from South IH-35 exit Slaughter Creek Overpass and turn left (heading West) over the Hwy. bridge, then turn left onto the access road. Then turn right onto FM 1626 and head west and go until you reach Bliss Spiller Road (the 4th light) and go right. Drive 1.3 miles to Carpenter Lane. Turn left onto Carpenter Lane and drive approximately one mile to the end of the road. Proceed through the open orange gate to the top of the hill. Bear Creek is in the blue house.
