General InformationNestled in the Sierra Forest, this quaint red and white inn features luxury accommodations, including queen feather beds, gas-log fireplaces, cozy sitting areas and private bathrooms, jetted tub. A freshly prepared full gourmet breakfast is served each morning, and in the early evening enjoy Californi wine and hors d'oeuvres in the Fireside Room. Plus, we offer three off-site locations, each with unique features, five minutes from the inn. The Fireside Room, featuring a hand-set granite fireplace, welcomes guests each morning to enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast. In the early evening, the California wine and hors d'oeuvres reception is a perfect background for meeting new friends or curling up with a good book. Our homemade cookies, sweet desserts, fresh brewed coffee and complimentary beverages are available throughout the day for our guests.
The four seasons provide downhill and cross country skiing, excellent fishing, hiking and a variety of boating activities on a series of pristine alpine lakes.

Take Auberry Rd. approximately 10 miles to the next stop sign in Prather. (Turn left onto Tollhouse Rd. Turn left at next stop sign, Hwy. 168, (following Shaver Lake sign). Stay on Hwy. 168 up the mountain until you get to the village of Shaver Lake. The Elliott House is on the left side of the street, in the center of town. - Nearest major airport: FAT 50 miles

Take McKinley Avenue to freeway, Hwy 168 East. Continue on the 2-lane road when the freeway ends. Take that past the the Prather intersection, At the stop sign, turn left at the bottom of the 4-lane, (Hwy. 168), following the Shaver Lake sign.
