On The National Register of Historc Places, this former sea captains home (1828 Greek Revival) has been faithfully restored to it's old splender, furnished with antiques, yet with all the modern comforts. Ocean views from almost all rooms. Seaside park with picnic tables and boat launch. From the breakfast parlor, watch the boats at St. Andrews,accross the bay,(Canadas oldest seaside resort on the Atlantic). Art gallery in the gardens, music festival in Aug (other concerts too). Within an hours drive you can explore Eastport, Lubec, Cobscook State Park, Moosehorn, Compobello Island, Roosevelt International Park, St. Andrews By The Sea, take whale watching and scenic cruises, golf, or go antiquing. Look for a tall white house with Greek pillars and The J B Siem Gallery in the gardens.
