General Information

The English Meadows Inn offers a unique English "Country House" experience in Kennebunkport. The beautifully restored historic main house (c. 1860) and carriage house (c. 1895) are situated on two acres of gardens and lawn. Each of our nine rooms and our Cottage have private bath (some with whirlpool tubs) and are individually decorated with English accessories, designer linens, antiques and pieces of our oriental rug collection. Several rooms have fireplaces. Our guests often tell us that our breakfast is one of the highlights of their stay. In a true English Country House, breakfast was an event and we try to make it special by serving gourmet food by candlelight with classical music. A proper "Tea" in the afternoon is always available by request. Just a short walk from the Village and Dock Square and a short drive to the beaches, the English Meadows combines a casually elegant, comfortable style with an ideal location to deliver an unique, English "Country House" experience.
