General InformationThe Fairville Inn is in the heart of the Brandywine Valley between Winterthur Museum and Longwood Gardens, and only minutes from the business district in Wilmington, Delaware. The Hagley, Brandywine River (Wyeth and Pyle collections), and Nemours Museums are also within minutes. Our 13 rooms and 2 suites are located in three buildings: the Main House (built in the early-mid 1800s), the Carriage House, and the Springhouse. Rooms begin at $150 per night (plus applicable taxes), which includes a full breakfast and afternoon tea. All rooms have a private bath, satellite TV, telephone, and individual heating and air-conditioning. Many rooms have a fireplace (seasonal) and most have a private deck/porch. All rooms have either a king- or queen-sized bed, some under a romantic canopy (one room has twin beds, which can be made into a king). Fine dining nearby. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.

- No childcare is provided
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted (BYOB; wine & spirits can be procured by arrangement.)
- Deposit amount required (A deposit equivalent to one night's stay is required to confirm.)
- Check in time is 3 pm and Check out time is 11 am
- Cancellations:
In the event of a cancellation, a deposit will be returned if we are notified prior to 12 noon, at least eight days before the scheduled arrival. If a reservation is cancelled or reduced less than eight days before the scheduled arrival, the deposit will be returned provided we are able to re-book all originally reserved nights. A cancellation fee of $15 will be applied to all cancellations. Reservations for four to eight rooms, or for a holiday period, require a 30-day cancellation notice. Reservations for more than eight rooms require a 45-day cancellation notice. - Accepted by the following agencies:

Take I-95 South to Wilmington, DE. In Wilmington, take Exit 7-B, turn right onto Route 52 (Delaware Avenue, which becomes Pennsylvania Avenue), stay left and follow Rte. 52 North through Greenville and Centreville across the Delaware/Pennsylvania state line (approx. 8 miles from Exit 7). The Inn will be approximately 1/2 mile further on the right-hand side. Note: DO NOT take the first Exit 7 in Pennsylvania. Wait until you're over the Delaware border.
