General Information

On Route 3 in Trenton, Maine, just eight miles from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, the Open Hearth Inn and Motel offers convenience and comfort at reasonable rates. The Inn is a 200-year-old New England Cape with pumpkin pine floors and original architecture and fireplaces. B&B Room 1 with half bath (extra adult/child over 12 to accompany B&B 2) on ground floor; B&B Suite 2 is huge and has high ceilings, living room, and full bath with tub on ground floor; B&B Suites 3 and 4 have full bath with shower, separate living rooms, and are on second floor with low ceilings. All rooms are tastefully furnished with period art and antiques, all have double beds, cable TV, refrigerators. There is a large, indoor jacuzzi, and massage therapists are on call. Breakfast is served from 08:30-10:00 with a three-course, gourmet meal served in the downstair's breakfast room. There are large motel rooms, country bedroom cottages, and efficiency apartments also available.
