Our sweetest room of all, though not as large as the others, overlooks the gardens and boasts a view of the St. Louis Gateway Arch year round. From the soft yellow matelasse’ French coverlet to the Portuguese marble bathroom, one is enveloped in a sense of calm and harmony.

Balcony Room
Two french doors open to the wrought iron balcony which allows one to sit outdoors and listen to the waterfall on a star lighted night. The marble fireplace with its’ electric flames (and heater, if you’re colder than the average person) brings an added dimension to an otherwise already great room. High-quality linens and bedding complete the package.

Lafayette Square
One of our largest and most comfortable rooms, the four posted queen-sized bed is beautifully canopied in rich fabric with a luxurious crown of cream and taupe. Carpeted in true Victorian style, the antiques are at their best. A feeling of serenity surrounds everything. A view of Lafayette Park and the gardens from the windows complete the room.

Park Avenue Suite
Sedate and elegant, this room is done in a rich taupe and appointed with antiques. Rich burgundy and cream fabric drape the wall behind the Victorian queen-sized bed adding to the opulence. French doors lead into the bathroom which has a 2 person corner Jacuzzi complete with 2 wall sconces on dimmer switches, glass shower and necessities. An original marble fireplace in the bedroom completes the setting with amber flames and a heater, if you are still chilly.

Fleur-De-Lys Suite
Spectacular room with a step-up marble Jacuzzi for 2 in the bedroom. No need for candles in this room. Above the Jacuzzi are 2 wall sconces on dimmer switches and the Jacuzzi step is lighted by a dimmer switch as well. The Victorian fireplace glows with amber flames and a heater, if you are colder than the average person. Above the queen sized bed is a beautiful crown canopy to add to the ambiance. The separate bathroom has a Portuguese marble floor and a marble and glass block shower.
