General Information

Fox Pond is quite possibly one of the north shore's most romantic hideaways. Nestled among giant oaks on a cul-de-sac and adjacent to 33 acres of conservation land, Fox Pond provides a sanctuary for the weary traveler or guest looking for a place to relax. Fox Pond is both a B&B as well as a show case for residential architecture.

On the second floor, the house features two cozy, sunny rooms with queen beds and private designer baths. Rates:In- season:$125-$150;Off-season:$99-$125. On the first floor at the rear of the house is at the Pond Room with a 23' ceiling, Frenchdoors, private marble bath, jacuzzi, fireplace and antique furniture. Rates:In-season:$200-$250; Off-season:$190-$215. There is no room tax.

Guests will enjoy a path from the property to hiking/biking trails and the ocean. The house is a 5-minute drive to beaches, Marblehead Center and Salem. Fox Pond is a sanctuary for birds, an occasional fox and home to Sophie, a beautiful Golden Retrever. Guests can relax on a brick patio bounded by beautiful gardens and covered porches, which overlook a 50'KOI pond with a waterfall.

    From Logan Airport (South and West) Follow signs to 1A north and Revere. Follow 1A through Revere and Lynn. Follow signs to Swampscott and Nahant. At the rotary, exit for Swampscott with the water on your right. In Swampscott, bear left at the fork and follow Route 129. Critical Turn: At the lane divider(approx 3/4 mile), turn left onto Humphrey St. Proceed for 2 miles until lighted intersection -bear slightly left onto Maple St. At the first light, take a left onto Route 114 - first right onto Everett Paine – first left onto Robert Rd - first right onto Arthur Avenue. 31 Arthur Avenue (9th house on the right with a brick driveway).
