General Information

Step back in time and enjoy a romantic stay at the historic Deming House, in Old Arlington Village. The Deming House was built in 1780 by Gamaliel Deming in The Shires of Vermont along the Battenkill river and was originally named, "The Deming Tavern". Today, this charming two story Georgian Colonial retains much of its original splendor and architectural demeanor. The Deming House is a historical landmark placed on the National Register of Historical Places by the Department of Interior. Stay in a tavern that was inhabited by a captain of "The Green Mountain Boys" and most certainly by it's head, ERthan Allen. Come discover a real B & B experience in what is truly a relaxing and friendly atmosphere.
