    Beauclaire's is a renowned Victorian style Bed & Breakfast open all year located in the historic district in Cape May, New Jersey. Just a half block from the beautiful Cape May beaches, and two blocks from the center of town where you can enjoy antique shopping, gourmet dining, and historic Cape May tours.     This suite is ideal for guests who enjoy modern amenities. Located on the second floor at "the end of the hallway" providing the ultimate privacy. The suite is decorated in a warm French country style. Enjoy our only customized queen size bed. The room is equipped with a daybed for the extra guest as well as three individual closets. The room is also equipped with fireplace, and 20 inch television with a DVD/VCR player. For your convenience a small refrigerator is available. The bathroom is furnished with a heated towel rack, dimmer lighting, and upgraded towels.

    • Minimum stay: 2 nights on weekends,3 nights Jul, Aug. and Holiday weekends

    • Deposit amount required: Confirmed reservations require a 50% deposit. The balance and tax is due upon check-in. Full advance payment is required for a one-night reservation.

    • Cancellations: We must be notified 21 days in advance if a reservation is to be cancelled, shortened, or changed. A credit towards a future stay, good for one year will be issued ONLY if we are able to rerent the vacancy for the entire length of reservation, less a $30.00 service charge. Any cancellation received within 72 hours of your scheduled arrival time will not be refunded.

    The house was nice with a great location within easy walking distance to the beach and the town. We could glimpse the ocean and the other houses decorated for Christmas from our Haley's Cottage room. Although the house was part of the tour, we guests were never given a tour or told anything about the house. Although Joe was there when we were, he never introduced himself nor did we get cookies our second night there. All in all a wonderful experience and one we would like to repeat at a different time of year.

    We have stayed at many B&Bs and Beauclaires is at the top of the list. Joann couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating! My only complaint was that the electric fireplace didn't work. It would have been nice to turn off the heat and turned that on instead.

    We only were able to stay one night. The furnishings in the home are beautiful antiques. We stayed in Haley's Cottage, which is a large comfortable room in the front of the house. You can see the beach from the side window. The full breakfast in the dining room was wonderful and filled us for the day's drive as we headed back toward Chicago. Very nice B&B.

    The location was great to the beach. The front porch was very relaxing. The room was clean and very attractive, bathroom small. All in all, a pleasant stay. We love Cape May and the easy accessibility to dining, shopping, nature, etc. We rarely take our car once we arrive.
