General InformationWinterham is a magnificently restored antebellum mansion, furnished with antiques,fine paintings and objets d'art. Large, elegant guest rooms with poster or canopy beds, fine linens, sitting areas, fireplaces, private baths and cable TV come with a full country breakfast. Start out going NORTH on RICHARD E. BYRD TERMINAL DRIVE toward SOUTH AIRPORT DRIVE MERGE ONTO I-64 W TOWARD RICHMOND (go 7.0 miles)
MERGE ONTO RICHMOND PETERSBURG TURNPIKE/I-95 S via EXIT 190 - on the LEFT (go 1.4 miles).
MERGE onto DOWNTOWN EXWY/VA-195 WEST/I-195 NORTH via EXIT 74A toward I-95 N/POWHITE PKWY (3.0 miles)
Take POWHITE PKWY/VA-76 SOUTH over the James River (11.4 miles). Then follow "Directions to Property," above.
MERGE onto VA-288 SOUTH toward I-95/CHESTERFIELD/VA-360/AMELIA (2.7 miles)
MERGE onto US-360 WEST toward AMELIA for 20.4 MILES to a stoplight at a McDonalds. Continue on VA-360 W (straight through the light) for ONE MILE PAST THE STOPLIGHT.
TURN RIGHT onto RT.609 (a sign there points TO "POWHATAN"). WINTERHAM PLANTATION IS ONE AND ONE-HALF MILES ON THE RIGHT.
