General Information

We have 5 guest accommodations: 3 rooms and 2 suites (all with private bathrooms) recently redecorated.

Enjoy our glorious gardens, including the courtyard garden featuring a large water/goldfish pond and patio. Small Wedding/Elopement/Renewal of Vows Packages are available at very affordable rates. Our Ultimate Wedding Package is loaded with special amenities to make your stay with us more memorable than ever. As a special gift to our couples, we offer additional nights (after your ceremony) at a very special rate -- so you can stay and enjoy all that Staunton and the surrounding area has to offer.

We pamper you by responding to your special requests, and since breakfast is our favorite time of day, we make it a very special event for you each and every morning.

Located in historic downtown Staunton, we feature an award-winning, newly-renovated Carriage House (a two-story separate building a few steps from the main house). Historic Staunton Foundation recognized us for the renovation and restoration of this historic building.

We offer many special amenities, which include guest refrigerators and microwaves, FREE unlimited wireless Internet service throughout the entire B&B, sitting areas in all bedrooms, central a.c. + ceiling fans, new firm mattresses with plush featherbeds topping each new mattress! And more . . . . The main building has three lovely guest rooms, a very large suite, and a TV lounge and a snack room. The main house has antiques and feels elegant and serene; the Carriage House is luxurious and offers every amenity we could think of for our guests. Enjoy the beautiful sound of church bells as you relax in the gardens of the back yard. Guests can walk to everything downtown -- or take the free trolley around town and over to the park. We are in a prime location downtown.

THE FARMHOUSE is a newly-acquired property which we are offer as a whole-house rental. Rent the entire house for the price of just booking a room! Sleeps up to 8.

  The historic Carriage House, located at the rear of the B&B property, has been totally renovated (and in November 2004 was recognized by Historic Staunton Foundation for excellence in renovation and restoration of this wonderful, historic building). It is a very special, luxurious 2-story accommodation. We have also created a separate kennel area (6' x 4')for your four-legged family members, which is in the garage section of The Carriage House.

  This wonderful dish can be made with or without asparagus. English muffins are topped with ham, cheese, and eggs. Then sweet red peppers are added and touch of dry mustard adds some zip. Asparagus is layered on top.

• Cancellations:
  Since this is a small bed and breakfast, cancellations affect us significantly. Please notify us of your intention to cancel at least seven (7) days prior to the first day of your reservation. A full refund or a gift certificate, can be sent to you. However, if the cancellation is during a holiday season, a special function in this area, or during the months of May or October, notification must be received at least fifteen (15) days prior to the first day of your reservation. When cancellations are received on shorter notice, you are financially responsible for the entire booking of your reservation unless we can re-book the room(s).
