Small Hope has 2 beaches, 1 where the cottages are and 1 swimming beach to the north of the property. Since 1960 we have been hosting scuba divers, snorkelers, fishermen, and eco-minded tourists.     My son and I went to Small Hope Bay Lodge for a three-night dive vacation and had such a great time, we ended up staying an extra night. The location is lovely - the cabins overlook a secluded beach. The diving is easily accessible - the dock is right on the property and most of the dive sites are only a 10 or 15 minute boat ride away. You're back in time for lunch after the two tank morning dive. Our favorite dive was King Kong's blue hole - phenomenal. The cavern and wall dives are great too. The staff is outstandingly friendly - going out of their way to give you personal service - and the food is a tasty fusion cuisine with Bahamian features and plenty of variety. Small Hope Bay Lodge is casual and relaxed and a lot of fun, with a really interesting mix of people. I recommend it highly.
