Policies

• No minimum stay required
• Smoking is allowed outside only (Permitted when away from rooms, open windows or other guests)
• We cannot accommodate guest pets
• Limitations on children staying (see my website, sweetgrassinn, for complete policy)
• No childcare is provided
• Consumption of alcohol is permitted (Seasonal on-site restaurant/bar or bring your own!)
• Deposit amount required (Required for special events only)
• Check in time is 3:00-6:00 and Check out time is 11:00
• Cancellations:
  2 weeks notice or forfeiture of deposit, full amount due if cancelled in less than 48 hours (excluding special events)

• Nearest major city: Rapid City, SD (6 miles northeast)
• Directions to property:
  6 miles south west of Rapid City on Hwy 16 (aka Mt Rushmore Road), about 17 miles north of Mt Rushmore
• Nearest major airport: RAP 17 miles
• Directions from airport:
  When you leave the airport, head towards Rapid City. After going approximately 5 miles, turn left on Truck Route 16 which eventually turns into Catron Blvd. After going about 8 miles, turn left on Hwy 16 and go 2 miles. When you are parallel to the huge dome of the Reptile Gardens, turn left off of the hwy and within a minute you will see Sweetgrass on the left. You will also see a huge Hart Ranch sign when turning off. Turn in the driveway and follow the OFFICE/CHECK IN sign. I doubt any of the map programs on the internet are aware of these directions since Truck Route 16 just opened 2005.
