Independence Trail Bed and Breakfast is step back in time to the 1880’s. We are located on Texas FM 390, “The La Bahia Trail”. Enjoy our 100 secluded acres where you can walk the wooded paths, fish in the lake, enjoy the boxwood gardens and wisteria arbor or just sit and relax on the patios or around the pool. Our big historic farmhouse has two suites and the private cottage, also built in the 1880’s, is very secluded beneath huge live oaks. We are located 15 minutes from Chappell Hill, Brenham, and Washington on the Brazos, 30 minutes from Round Top and Bryan-College Station and just minutes from the Antique Rose Emporium. ALL LOOKS OUT TO THE BOXWOOD GARDEN AND WISTERIA ARBOUR AND THE SEPARATE BEDROOM WITH A KING BED. THE OTHER SIDE HAS THE VICTORIAN SUITE WITH A QUEEN CANOPY BED, AND MARIES ROOM ALONG WITH THE LARGE COUNTRY KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM WITH FIREPLACE. THE COTTAGE HAS TWO BEDROOMS ONE AND A HALF BATHS AND 3 LARGE SOFAS IN THE LIVING ROOM AND ONE SLEEP SOFA. THE DINING ROOM HAS A LONG ANTIQUE PINE TABLE AND CAIRS AND ONE OTHER SMALL DINING AREA AND A FULL KITCHEN
