  • 2 1/2 cups All purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  • 1/2 lb Butter, Salted (2 sticks)

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar, packed

  • 1 cup Sugar, Granulated

  • 1 cup Peanut Butter

  • 2 Eggs

  • 2 teaspoons Kahlua (or vanilla or other extract)

  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips

Heat over to 350 degrees. Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in medium bowl. In bowl of electric mixer or by hand, beat butter until creamy.

Add sugars; beat until fluffy (about 3 minutes with an electric mixer). Beat in peanut butter until fully incorporated. Add eggs, one at a time. Add Kahlua.

Step 3:

Gently stir dry ingredients into peanut butter mixture. Add chocolate chips.

Step 5:

Bake until cookies are puffed and slightly brown on the edges but not on top – about 10 to 12 minutes. (cookies will not look fully baked) Cool cookies on cookie sheet (2-4 minutes) till set then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
