Supurb Scones

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups Organic Flour
  • 1/3 cup Organic Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Organic Butter
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder non-aluminum
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 teaspoons Orange Zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 cup Butter Milk
  • 1 cup Organic Dried Fruit
  • 3 tablespoons Heavy Cream
  • 3/4 cup Organic Raw Sugar
  • 3 teaspoons Organic Cinnamon

Steps:

  1. mix all the dry ingredients in a food processor until crumbly, include the butter
  2. add buttermilk, process untils whet, add dried fruit and process 1 minute. Turn onto a floured smoothe working surface. Cut into shapes of your choice, 1/2" thick.
  3. grease baking sheet and place scones on the sheets. Brush with heavy cream and sprinkle with raw sugar. Put in a 450 degree oven for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown on the top. Cool on a wire rack, serve and eat!
