Review Butterfly Creek Inn, Tryon, NC

Photo Album

Aaaahhhh.. a magical place to rest reclining on down furniture by the fire where all my cares float awayAaaahhhh...the creek, the magical creek
The Storybook "Old World Swallowtail" is a favorite of our guests, and magazine editors...
Overlooking the creek, the Queen Suite offers our aromatherapy treatments, candlelight and flowers while the "treehouse sitting room' has a palladian window overlooking the woods and creek ... $195 includes our feast of 3 gourmet courses, candlelight and aromatherapy accoutrements. How about a totally nourishing facial before dinner?
Appointed with lemon sorbet linen and matte lisse and wrapped in a down comforter only to be discounted by the 400 threadcount sheets. Handpainted bath has a shower tub and pedestal sinkAaaahhhh...a myriad of spa services including all sorts of massage with no limits on your time spent basking in the nurturing. Private yoga instruction, nutritional counseling, reiki, cranial sacral, hot stone, sonmoto emotional response work, emotional freedom technigues, tae body work, as well as spa manicures and pedicures, and ridiculously lavishing facials!
Aaaahhh....the sunroom overlooks the creek and woods, and it is so warmly lit by the sunsplashed windows, that you will feel as if you are outside even in the summer...much less the winter! The only complaint is that the down chaise and lavish furnishings can't go home with you!Aaaahhhh....overlooking a wide expanse of Butterfly Creek...The Clipper Butterfly Suite is furnished with white washed primitive oak and embellished with Amethyst silk and velvet half canopy and window treatments.
Yummy gold jacquard finishes the bedding of down and an oh so soft bed that some guests have been known to sleep in until 11am...and then saunter to breakfast in their cozy robes before massages. 400 thread count, and more...see the website for details...$165 includes our fabulous 3 course breakfast!
Aaahhhh....it just keeps getting better...
Three course breakfasts that look like "Martha" designed the tablesetting and the food. Your feast receives many accolades, and is served creekside anytime you desire!
Favorites might be...eggs benedict or cheese souffle and North Carolina sausage for a 2nd course, silver dollar gingerbread pancakes with granny smith apple compote, or bread pudding with hot orange marmalade sauce and creme fraiche. Starbucks coffee or none at all!!!!!
