General Information

The Hollerstown Hill Bed & Breakfast is a wonderful example of late victorian architecture built in c.1900 by Sarah and Richard Dutrow, owners in the late 1800s of the Dutrow Confectionary.

The bed & breakfast is graced with carved mantels, fireplaces, period antiques, reproductions, and collectibles. For example, Betty displays her large collection of dolls throughout the house. There is a game room in which you'll find a traditional billiards table plus nooks for board games, including a chess set with Civil War characters. The four guest rooms are spacious, each with air conditioning, sitting area and private bath, and each uniquely decorated.

Begin your day with freshly brewed coffee or tea. Indulge in a full country breakfast featuring home-baked breads, fresh juices, fruit, yogurt, granola, cereals, and sumptuous casseroles.

Guests can relax on the wrap-around porch or garden patio, enjoy the game room, or leisurely stroll to the charming historic district of Frederick to visit the shops, museums, local events, and many restaurants. There are many additional historic sites a short drive away.
