Slocum House Inn is located just a short drive North of Gettysburg. Our completely renovated pre-Revolutionary home offers a unique country getaway. Its particular architectural features, combined with classic farmhouse antiques give Slocum House the warm, cozy ambiance of a country cottage.   DIRECTIONS FROM GETTYSBURG TO SLOCUM HOUSE INN From Lincoln Square go North on Carlisle Street (Route 34) at the traffic light by Gettysburg College, turn right on to Business 15 North. Stay on Business 15 North; you will stay straight through the 4-way stop sign at Route 394, and the 2-way stop sign at Heidlersburg, Route 234. After crossing over Route 234 go about 3/4 mile and turn left on Oxford Road. Stay straight on Oxford for approximately 2 miles (when the road appears to turn left stay straight on Oxford Road). Go straight through the 4-way stop sign at Cranberry and Oxford Road. Go about 1 mile and turn left on to Blue Berry Road. You will see our sign down the hill on the left.

  DIRECTIONS FROM BWI TO SLOCUM HOUSE INN Take Route 695 (go toward Towson, MD, verses Glen Bernie, MD). From 695 take the Northern Expressway, Route 795, you will go past exits to Randallstown and Reisterstown, etc. Exit 795 when you see signs to Westminster, and Gettysburg (Route 795 merges into Route 97 and 140). Stay on Route 97 through Westminster, look for sign to Gettysburg. Stay on 97 through Littlestown, go about six miles to Route 15 North. Take Route 15 North to the Heildersburg exit (Route 234). At exit ramp turn left on to Route 234 go to the first intersection and turn right on to Old Harrisburg Road (Business 15). Go about ¾ mile and turn left on to Oxford Road. Stay Straight on Oxford Road (it looks like Oxford Road goes left but it actually goes straight), go about 2 miles to 4-way stop sign at Cranberry Road, stay straight on Oxford Road. Look for Blue Berry Road on your left. Turn left go down the hill and you will see our sign on the left.
