General InformationWaterfalls Inn offers four large luxurious guest rooms with private baths. The plantation-style 6,000 sq. ft. home has been totally renovated and is listed on the National and State Historical Register. We are located only 1/2 mile from downtown Hilo on historic Reeds Island. Enjoy the tropical ambiance of the rain forest and nature sounds. Indulge in the fresh baked breads, fresh fruit, fruit smoothies and granola for breakfast. Luxury pillowtop mattresses with fine linens and down comforters and pillows beckon you to sleep. Whirlpool or large soaking tubs melt away your worries, and views of the Wailuku River or Hilo Bay relax the mind. Policies- Minimum stay required (Minimum two nights, $20 extra for a one night stay.)

Ten minutes from Hilo Airport. Drive along the Hilo Bay to Wainuenue, turn left and go to the third light (Kaiulani), turn right to 240 Kaiulani Street. Walk to Hilo Bay, Historic Downtown Hilo, the Farmers Market, and Rainbow Falls. Drive five miles to great snorkeling/surfing beaches or drive 1 1/2 hours to fabulous Hapuna Beach. Drive 30 miles to the volcano and walk up to streaming lava or hike the many nature trails. Drive to the vistor's center on Mauna Kea and peer at the stars. During the winter months, the humpback whales make Hawaii their home. - Nearest major airport: ITO 4 miles
