General InformationThe Ira Allen House (1779) is an historic inn conveniently located between Manchester and Arlington on the famous Battenkill River, in the heart of a Four Season Resort. It was the home of Ethan and Ira Allen, Green Mountain Boys, and the founders of the State of Vermont.Our inn offers a classic country breakfast and cozy comfortable suites at very moderate rates. We also offer special skiing, flyfishing, and golf packages.
