Golden Sunset Suite
This is our largest suite and popular for honeymoons and anniversaries. It features a king bed, an 1860's 5-piece solid hand carved mahogany bedroom set, private bath with soaking tub, and sitting area with original fireplace. This suite has a very large, private outdoor verandah looking towards the lake, sunsets & second floor greenhouse with private access to the lower level terrace. Perfect for relaxing while watching Lake Geneva sunsets. This was originally the main bed chambers for the Maxwell family.

Golden Garden Room
Nancy Daily (who took the married name Regan) spent a summer in this spacious room. Today it boasts a King size canopy bed and private bath with tub. Room overlooks large ornate fountain, turn of the century oak trees, and perennial rose garden in the front courtyard. This room also contains furniture from the 1860's and has hardwood floors throughout with a Franklin Stove.

Golden Rainbow Room
Ulysses S. Grant once slept in this room which today features a Queen bed, private bath with shower, and old time wood phone booth converted into a closet. With hardwood floors throughout, this room was originally the nursery in 1856 and today is rumored to be responsible for several Lake Geneva pregnancies :)

Golden Breeze Room
The moment you walk into your room, it feels like you stepped into a lovely tropical oasis. This large room has a queen size bed with private shower bathroom. The numerous front facing windows overlook the large ornate fountain and statues in the front courtyard. With hardwood floors through this cozy room also has a Franklin Stove for chilly evenings.

Golden Nest Room
Coziness is what you'll feel from the moment you step into this guest room. You'll be tucked in like a bird in a nest. This cozy room is sometimes called "The Birdhouse" after it's hand-painted armoire by a local artist. This room has a detached private bathroom just steps away and features two Queen beds.
Original art work of Amy Brancel adorns the amour and sets the mood of the room with bright colors and wild flowers.

Robert Golden Room 206
This Large sun filled room has a North woods rustic feel and features two queen Log beds, private bath, and sitting area with Franklin stove. The suite overlooks the ornate fountain and Victorian perennial rose garden in the front courtyard as well as the herb garden to the North.

Golden Library Suite 103
This is the only room located on the first floor and features a King size bed with private walk out deck and large private bath. This room was originally the men's smoking parlor in 1856 and contains floor to ceiling bookshelves loaded with books. We always chuckle when our guests ask, but no there is no smoke odor :)
