Queen Anne's on the 7th was a beautiful old home. It was a very clean room and though they could not serve a cooked breakfast due to Coles Co. rules, they did provide gift certificate to local restaurant. We would definitely go back.

While all bedrooms are upstairs, they are well furnished with antiques as well as the latest electronics. Breakfast was quite filling. Many choices of drinks, coffees and teas. We have visited on several occasions. We will visit again.

We actually have a room on the main floor, The Ivory Room, available to guests that have difficulty with stairs. We really enjoyed our stay. Annette made us feel at home. We had fun at her pool. It was a very relaxing weekend. It would be nice to request certain flavors of juice, muffins, etc.

This is a very pleasant place to stay. Close to EIU University, but in a quiet neighborhood. The owner is very friendly and accomodating. Cozy in cool weather. Nice complimentary breakfast. very comfortable.

The Blue Room has a brass queen size bed with a burgundy and blue color scheme. The ensuite bath has Victorian appeal with a pedestal sink and a spa shower. TV/VCR, writing desk, hairdyer, dataport, Wi-Fi, ceiling fan, A/C. Microwave and refrigerator available. A Singles Discount may be applied to this room, $99 plus tax for single guests, Sunday thru Thursday. Rate for two guests, $84 plus tax.The Rose Room has a queen-size bed. The room has a feminine touch with tiny roses wallpaper and victorian dolls for border. The full private bath is attached and offers an escape with a leisurely bubble bath or shower. TV/VCR, dataport, hairdryer, writing desk. Microwave and refrigerator available. $99 plus tax for two guests. A Singles Discount may be applied to this room Sun-Thurs, single occupancy at $84 plus tax with continental breakfast.
The Ivory Room is offered to guests when the Blue Room and the Rose Room are booked, or if guests need a room on the main floor. It has a queen-size antique brass bed, two Queen Anne chairs, a writing desk, data port, TV/VCR, ceiling fan, private bath with clawfoot tub and shower, alarm clock, etc. Microwave and refrigerator. $99 plus tax for two guests. A Singles Discount may be applied to this room Sunday-Thursday, $84 plus tax. The Room with a Loft features a full-size bed on the main level. Attached is the private bathroom with whirlpool tub/shower. Up the flight of stairs is a small sitting area and two twin beds. A small kitchenette is off this area. It was once a playroom and still has books, games, cards, etc. $119 plus tax for two guests, $20+tax for each additional guest.
The Dining Room is for guests booking the Ivory Room although all guests may use it if the Ivory Room is unoccupied.The Parlor is available to all guests and includes a piano and a TV/VCR. Each guest room also has a TV/VCR.
Registered guests are welcome to use the pool and patio areas. The pool is secluded by woods and surrounding landscaping.In the spring, enjoy breakfast outdoors near the rose bushes. Other options include your room with breakfast-in-bed, one of our balconies, use one of the kitchenettes or dining room, or gift certificates to a nearby restaurant.
