Art Room
This room features a cozy sitting room, a queen-size cast iron bed and bright folk art furniture. Nestled above, the room includes a secluded sleeping loft with a second cast iron bed, and is ideal for children or an additional adult guest. A private entrance connects this room with the front porch and views of the Mesa Verde Plateau. The room's full, private bath is located just across the hall. True to its name, the Art Room is stocked with arts and crafts supplies so you can get creative.

Bell Tower
Featuring a large, circular window, the Bell Tower offers some of the best views of our country setting. Watch the sun set over Sleeping Ute Mountain and the clouds pass over the Mesa Verde Plateau. This room is located just below the original bell tower and you'll sleep on a raised platform with full-size (double) mattress just under the bell. Don't worry, we don't ring the bell! This room shares a full bathroom with separate shower and bathtub with The Recess.

The Recess
Hidden away, this room is only accessible by a bridge that overlooks the main common areas. Guests will enjoy the recessed privacy of this cozy room. Decorated with unique turn-of-the-century Mission Style and quarter-sawn oak antiques, the room features a queen-size bed. This room shares a full bathroom with separate shower and bathtub with the Bell Tower.

Teachery
Find privacy in the old teacher's quarters. Built in 1920 to provide a home for the school teacher, it has been converted into a lovely guest house. The room is decorated in quarter-sawn oak antique furniture, including a queen-size bed, and features a rare mirrored hotel commode that has been transformed into a vanity sink. The private bath includes a shower. The Teachery has its own secluded deck and is linked to the main Schoolhouse by a short, lighted path through the trees.

Social Study
This room is located in the carriage house loft and offers spectacular views from its own private balcony overlooking the San Juan Mountains, Mesa Verde Plateau and Sleeping Ute Mountain. Guests who stay in Social Study are often treated to evening glimpses of the deer who pass beneath the balcony. Vaulted ceilings give the room its charm, as well as a one-of-a-kind quarter sawn bedroom suite with marble tops and an original hand-silvered mirror. The room has a small refrigerator for you to store extra food (this is in addition to the common room kitchen which is available to all of our guests). This secluded hideaway is perfect for honeymooners, new and old.
