The Back Bay Inn is the Central California Coast's most romantic getaway. Voted to be one of the Central Coast's top 10 B&Bs. It is small, private and located right on the water at the quiet south end of Morro Bay in Baywood Park. Kayak to your doorstep. All 14 rooms at the inn are waterfront and command spectacular and inspiring vistas of the back bay's mirror-like waters and the beautiful coastal mountains of Montana de Oro State Park. Your room will feature either a cozy fireplace, balcony or lanai and will provide the ideal backdrop for a perfect romantic vacation.

    From the South: Take U.S. 101 to San Luis Obispo and exit at Los Osos Valley Road. Turn left on to Los Osos Valley Road and go for about 10 miles (much of it farmland) to South Bay Blvd. Turn right on South Bay Blvd. Drive for 1.5 miles to Santa Ysabel (second light). Turn left and drive 16 blocks to 2nd Street. Turn left and go 2 blocks to the water. The Back Bay Inn is on your right near the pier and behind the coffee shop. From the North: Take U.S. 101 to the Hwy 41/Morro Bay exit in Atascadero. Turn right on to Hwy 41. Drive about 16 miles through the mountains until it meets Hwy 1 near the coast. Go South on Hwy 1 about 2 miles and take the Los Osos/Baywood Park exit. Turn right and follow South Bay Blvd (along the waterfront) for 2 miles to Santa Ysabel. Turn right and drive 16 blocks to 2nd Street. Turn left and go 2 blocks to the water. The Back Bay Inn is on your right near the pier and behind the coffee shop.
