Had the pleasure of staying at the Blue Skye Farm on my first trip to Maine. Felt at home, very comfortable. Would love to return soon.

My brother, who never goes anywhere, went to Blue Skye for a stay with his wife. He raved so much I had to make the trip. I'm so glad we did. We had the most relaxing weekend in years with a very accommodating hostess and host, in a quiet... read more

Our contentment starts from the time you step through the front door of this inn. The surroundings are warm, charming and cozy. And Jan, one of the owners, is gracious, cheerful, and serves a hearty breakfast! We've come to call Blue Skye our home... read more

Winter and spring is a great time to come here. One night I had the whole inn to myself! The keepers live in stand alone quarters so you are truly "in your place". Put some wood on the fire. Make a cup of tea. Check out the great... read more

The Keeping Room at Blue Skye where breakfast is served. In the evening, have your dinner by the fire (guests have full use of the kitchen) or gather round the kitchen table for a more casual meal. The house is yours!Fireplaces, four posters, victorian sleeping loft, attic room nooks and crannies, far reaching views, each room at Blue Skye offers a special pleasure. Even our ghost (only seen once by a fanciful guest) seems intent on looking after guests by tucking them in!!
Cool and refreshing in the summer, cozy and warm in the winter, the sitting room at Blue Skye is just the place to sit with a drink, contemplate the day and plan tomorrow's adventures. Plenty of books and games to keep you amused and a wide choice of music to listen to. Some guests prefer the privacy of breakfast in the sunroom, or take it outside to the picnic table.
It's always possible to find a quiet corner at Blue Skye.Take a walk round the garden after breakfast. Climb to the top of the hayfield and enjoy the view.
Spring garden. Our view over the marsh.
