General Information

Blue Skye Farm occupies 100 wooded acres of Midcoast Maine on the road to the fishing port of Friendship. There are trails and tracks open all year for hiking or skiing and a large garden with ponds and streams for strolling or picnicking and it all provides a home to a multitude of birds and mammals. The house at Blue Skye is entirely at the disposal of the guests - the owners live in an adjacent cottage - and offers 5 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and sitting room. There are fireplaces, four poster beds, a child's sleeping loft, books, games, music,wireless internet and beautiful views in every direction. While many friendships have been forged at Blue Skye, the hospitality of the house ensures guest privacy.
Blue Skye was featured as an Editors'Choice by Yankee Magazine,is recommended by An Explorer's Guide to Maine and The Rough Guide to New England ,was profiled in DownEast Magazine, and is listed in the Official Guide to Historic Inns of America.
