The Colonial Spanish Quarter
The Colonial Spanish Quarter is a living history museum. Costumed interpreters relive a time when St. Augustine was a remote outpost of the Spanish Empire. The Colonial Spanish Quarter illustrates the life of Spanish soldiers and their families in 1740 St. Augustine. Tradesmen go about their occupations in blacksmithing, carpentry, leatherworking, candle making and other trades. The visitor experiences how families lived, grew and cooked their food. How their livestock was tended too in the 18th century St. Augustine.
The Oldest House Museum Complex
A must see on your tour of the nation's oldest city. The museum complex is owned and operated by the St. Augustine Historical Society. Includes Florida's Oldest House, two museums, a changing exhibition gallery, an ornamental garden and a museum store.
Ripley's Sightseeing Trains
Ripley's is St. Augustine's original sightseeing train tour and has been showing off our city since 1953. Step off and reboard at your leisure at over 20 convenient stops for attractions, historic sites, restaurants and shopping here in the "Nation's Oldest City."
