Browse through hundreds of books in The Mansion Inn, which was once home to the Cheneys, Connecticut silk barons. Five guestrooms are decorated with imagination in flower garden colors, all with private bathrooms,working fireplaces, and AC. Breakfast on the piazza, take tea in the walled gardens fragrant with honeysuckle, old roses and visiting butterflies. Cheney Brothers Historic District Preservation Award.
