General Information

A truly grand home, Georgian style, on serene Big Bayou Black, located in the heart of the Cajun Bayou country. We are surrounded by four acres of beautiful old live oak trees. We keep chickens, ducks, bees, and have an organic vegetable garden, a citrus orchard and plenty of banana trees. Formal dining room and living room with fireplace plus a huge screen porch and patio. Two rooms with private bath, one suite with private bath and private patio as well as handicapped access suite has private hot tub on balcony and private entrance.FEATURED ON NBC TODAY SHOW.We do garden weddings up to 300 guests.

    Out of New Orleans Airport right to Interstate 310, take the Houma-Boutte ramp until you reach Highway 90. You will turn right on Highway 90 and proceed for about 25 minutes heading towards Houma. Take the first Houma Exit onto Highway 182, turning left at the stop sign. Follow this highway past the Houma Courier Building (on your right), take first right along Big Bayou Black. In the second block you will see us on the left hand side of the road--a big white house with many oak trees.

    Tim is a district court judge and Debbie is a realtor. We hunt,fish, make garden (south Louisiana slang for having a vegetable garden), have chickens, ducks, are beekeepers and raise citrus trees. We are also bicyclists, love to barbecue and cook cajun food.
