General InformationA small country Bed and Breakfast in Canton, NY. Located in a modern center hall colonial built in 1990 and situated on 17 acres of rolling meadow. Conveniently located to any of our four local colleges; a comfortable base for day trips to the Adirondacks, 1000 Islands or Ottawa, Canada. We have three rooms available for the traveler or extended stay guest. One has a Queen bed and the other two both have a Queen and a Twin. All rooms have private baths and are equipped with Cable TV, DVD/VCRs, Telephone, Air Conditioning, Data Ports and Clock Radio, Wireless Internet access, free phone calls in the US and Canada. Bird watchers paradise and abundant wildlife.

FROM THE ADIRONDACKS - take Route 56 north to Colton and turn left onto Route 68 west. We are 8 miles from this intersection on left side. FROM POTSDAM - take Route 11 south for 9 miles and turn left at first light onto Route 68 east and we are 4.4 miles from this intersection on the right side. Our B&B is located at 1609 Route 68. It is a gray colonial with a lighted sign at road and lighted candles in the windows after dark. - Nearest major airport: SYR 135 miles

OTTAWA AIRPORT: Route 416 south to bridge at Ogdensburg, NY. Route 37 west to Route 68 east. Follow directions for FROM CANTON above. Driving time is approx. 1 hour 30 minutes.

We enjoy seasonal outdoor activities. Skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, canoeing and sailing. Summer evenings are spent by the outdoor fireside reading, just relaxing or viewing the heavens through our telescope. We have traveled extensively through the USA, Canada and Germany and enjoy comparing travel experiences with our guests. - The innkeepers speak: English
