Texas Toast

Serves: 6Ingredients:
- 1 loaf Wheat French Bread
- Packaged, shredded cheese
- Softened butter or margarine
- Parsley flakes or Spinach/herb flakes
Steps:
- The night before breakfast, cut two slices per guest from the Wheat French Bread loaf. Slices should be about 1/2 inch, cut diagonally.
- Butter the slices with soft butter or spreadable margarine.
- Sprinkle liberally with shredded cheese. (I like the three-cheese combinations.)
- Sprinkle liberally with parsley flakes or spinach/herb flakes. Place on baking pan, cover and refrigerate until morning.
- Preheat oven to 350. When guests are seated, switch oven to broil and put toast slices in to toast for 5-7 minutes while you finish the eggs and bacon. Easy, easy, easy!
