Welcome to our restored Victorian villa, located in the heart of downtown Wilmington. Effie's Place Bed and Breakfast is designed for your personal comfort as your home away from home. We have three well appointed guestrooms with private baths and phones. Whether you are here on business in the Wilmington area, visiting nearby Wilmington College, or looking for a getaway in a small town setting, our convenient accommodations are sure to please you. Built in 1871, Effie's Place is a two story Victorian villa with alabaster chandeliers, authentic leather wallpaper, stucco siding with a clay tile roof and a 7 foot stained glass window overlooking the main staircase.
