Banana Pancakes with Walnuts
Total preparation time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4Ingredients:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, unbeaten
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 bananas, mashed
- 1 cup walnuts,chopped
Steps:
- Sift together the dry ingredients. Add the eggs one at a time, buttermilk and oil and stir until just mixed. Stir in the bananas. Fry on a griddle in butter over medium heat until dry around edges(they are think so it takes a while). Turn briefly. Serve with New England maple syrup.
