Onion Marmalade
Total preparation time: 2 hours
Serves: 16Ingredients:
- 3 lb Red Onions, peel, julienne
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 1/3 cup Red Wine Vinegar
- 1/3 cup Red Wine
- 3 tablespoons Honey
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 3 tablespoons Grenadine
- 2 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1 teaspoon White Pepper, Ground
Steps:
- 1.Sweat onions over low heat in oil.
2.Add remaining ingredients and simmer to a syrup consistency.
3.Serve slightly chilled or room temperature
