Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Butter,unsalted
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda

Steps:

  1. 1.Sift together the Flour, Baking Powder, and Baking Soda and set aside. 2.In an electric mixer cream together Butter, Sugar, Brown Sugar, and Salt until smooth, creamy, and light. 3.Add Peanut Butter and mix until well combined. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with a rubber spatula.
  2. 4.Add Eggs one at a time. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl. 5.Add flour mixture and mix well. 6.Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. 7.Preheat oven to 325°F. 8.Form tablespoon sized balls of chilled dough and place on a lightly greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart. 9.With a fork press the balls down lightly to flatten. Turn the fork 90° and press again to make a criss-cross pattern. 10.Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
