GRANITA
Total preparation time: 1 hour
Serves: 10Ingredients:
- 1 kg Fresh seasonal fruits
- 1/8 kg Sugar
- 1/3 liter Water
Steps:
- Wash, peel and put the fruit into a mixer, add water and sugar and mix until it's creamy.
- Put the creamy mass into a container and put this into a low temperture freezer (slightly below 32° F)
- Wait till it starts to partially freeze, mix it again.
Ready to serve in glasses or bowls.
You can add cream on top and serve it together with a "brioche"
That's a typically sicilian summer breakfast.
