General Information

A New Orleans bed and breakfast, the Avenue Inn B&B was completed in 1891 as a private residence for wealthy merchant Henry Picard and family.Designed by renowned architect, Thomas Sully, the Inn features thirteen foot ceilings, hardwood floors, original fireplaces and period and eclectic furnishings throughout. Visitors will admire the many architectural features found in this unique Queen Anne style mansion on the historic St. Charles Avenue streetcar line in the quaint Uptown neighborhood. Early departure fee of one night will apply and full balance penalties may apply during special events, holidays,etc.
