General Information

The Avenue Inn Bed and Breakfast was completed in 1891 as a private residence for wealthy merchant Henry Picard and his family. Designed by renowned architect, Thomas Sully, it features thirteen foot ceilings, hardwood floors, eight original fireplaces and period and eclectic furnishings throughout. Visitors will admire the many architectural features found in this unique Queen Anne style mansion. All guest rooms offer private baths, cable television, telephones with voice mail, data ports, wireless internet and climate control.
