Boutique queen with private bath has high ceiling, hardwood floor, writing desk, side chair, cable, voicemail, climate control, iron and hairdryer.The grand king junior suite with four poster bed, sitting area and antique furnishings. This room is perfect for a romantic interlude or honeymoon weekend. The bath is large and features an original four foot claw tub for soaking away any lingering stress during your vacation.
One of several double double rooms with full-sized beds, this light and airy room was once the rear gallery of the original owners quarters. It features bright windows, hardwood floors and a dining room table belonging to the current owner's great aunt from the early 40's. The private bath has a tub/shower.Thirteen foot ceilings throughout and handworked cypress stained in dark pecan exemplify the wealth that was prevalent in the grand homes of the late 1800's. The high staircases shown here are beautiful and overwhelming.
Eight fireplaces once kept the home warm and toasty. Originally coal fired, then later converted to gas, today the house is centrally heated and air-conditioned. These unique museum quality appointments are treasures and you will enjoy checking out every detail from the vantage point of your deluxe accommodation.Every detail a masterpiece of Victorian design. High coved ceilings and heirloom appointments are but a few of the features you will admire. This deluxe queen has a view of famed St. Charles Avenue.
Rare in bed and breakfast inventories, this beautiful double queen room boasts an original decorative fireplace, high ceilings, family heirloom furnishings and a private bath.This deluxe king has a side porch once used to view the gardens of the home. Unique to this room is the hidden pocket doors with glass inserts. These doors allowed in the sunlight during winter while protecting from the cold.
