This lovely Bed & Breakfast is a circa 1820 Federal-style home overlooking the Kennebec River in historic Bath, the "City of Ships", and just a few blocks from the heart of town. A classic New England house, it features an elegant double staircase, wide pine floors and fireplaces. There are two distinctive rooms, all having private baths. The Elizabeth Room, named after a previous owner, is decorated in a Victorian style and has a queen-size bed and spacious bathroom. The Tall Chimney Room, unusual with its exposed brick chimney, reflects a feeling of comfort and warmth. It has a queen-size bed, high ceiling, a 2-person Jacuzzi in its large bathroom and balcony to the outside. A convenient stopping-off point for visitors traveling on Route 1 or I-295, it's also located near historic Wiscasset, Popham Beach, Reid State Park, Brunswick Naval Air Station, Bowdoin College and the Boothbay area.

The jacuzzi room was wonderful, breakfast was great, quiet atmosphere, awesome city! Try the restaurant solo bistro. Really friendly inn keeper. It was our first visit to a bed and breakfast and it was a wonderful experience. I love Bath already, and the Pryor house made it so much better.
