Florida Citrus Soup: Beverage

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 Grapefruit

  • 3-4 Oranges

  • 1/2 Pineapple

  • 2 cups Mixed light fruit juice/Apple, Strawberry, Banana. mango, passion fruit, no citrus

  • 8 maraschino cherries and 2 Tbls. maraschino cherry juice

  • 2 packets Artificial Sweetner

Step 1:

Cut grapefruit in half and use grapefruit knife to cut sections. Squeeze grapefruit to remove sections and juice. Place in 3 quart bowl to be covered.

Step 2:

Cut oranges in half and use grapefruit knife to cut sections. Squeeze oranges to remove sections and juice and add to bowl.

Step 3:

Peel and core ripe pineapple. Finely chop and mash pineapple along with any juice produced and add to bowl.

Step 4:

Add 2 cups of juice, maraschino cherries and juice. Chill thoroughly and serve in magarita glasses on plate with doily and larger spoon.
