General Information

Welcome to our 1912 Colonial Revival home, located in the historic and charming town of Pittsboro, south of Chapel Hill. Rosemary House B&B is named for the herb rosemary, traditionally held to be the herb of friendship and remembrance. You will enjoy rocking on our big front porches, shaded in the summer by gigantic sugar maples. The back porch is perfect for watching the birds, sipping lemonade, and reading. Five romantic guest rooms, all with private tiled baths, some with whirlpools and fireplaces. Rate includes full breakfast and afternoon refreshments.

  Mac teaches math at the local high school, and Karen "used to be" an engineering economist before she took up innkeeping. We enjoy our family (five children and three grandchildren, so far), friends, walking, reading about science and adventure, and talking with our guests!
