General Information

Nestled among the Amish farms of Holmes County, 7 miles North of Berlin, Ohio, you will find Gilead's Balm Manor. With five acres of beautiful landscape, a peaceful 2 ½ acre lake and wooded sanctuary, it's Amish elegance at its best. Gilead's Balm originated when David and Sarah Stutzman combined their Amish background and their five acre paradise into a haven for visitors. Your hosts Harry and Cheryl Welch have followed their tradition of creating something special for their guests. Enjoy getting back to nature while feeding the fish, taking a walk, fishing, taking a paddle boat ride in our 2 ½ acre lake, or just plain relaxing. You will also find at Gilead's Balm a hot breakfast, Satellite TV, a fee sparkling beverage juice, CD's, board games, Free video's, a gazebo, swings, and in the background - Amish Buggies trotting by.
