Hazelnut Muffins with Strawberry Jam

Serves: 12Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups Flour
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 8 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, Melted
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 cup Hazelnuts (Finely Chopped)
- 1/4 cup Strawberry Jam
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, stir together melted butter, sour cream, egg and vanilla.
- Add wet ingredients and hazelnuts to dry ingredients and stir until just moistened.Fill lightly buttered muffin cups 3/4 full.Make a well in the center and fill with a 1/4 teaspoon of strawberry jam. Bake until muffins are golden. (Approx. 15 minutes)
