General Information

Fabulous rooms with a view overlooking Charleston Harbor and Historic Fort Sumter. Locally known as the "Pink Palace" it is one of the 50 most famous homes in Charleston. The forerunner of the submarine, "The David", was invented in this house. The Palmer Home is in the center of the historic district. Off-street parking is available.     Beautiful Carriage House just remodeled for extended stays. Bedrooms have view of pool and harbour. Two bedrooms upstairs: one with two double beds, another with one double bed. One bath upstairs with shower only. Downstairs has a living room, dining room, full kitchen and porch with a King bed. VCR's, cable TV and private garden. Off street parking is available. Located in the center of the historic district, within walking distance to everything. Decorated with antiques. $275 per night plus 12% tax. FROM MYRTLE BEACH take 17 South and cross Cooper River Bridge. Take Meeting Street exit, East. Go to the end of Meeting Street. You will have to turn here on South Battery - take a left. At the end of South Battery you will come to East Battery. Turn left on East Battery. The Palmer Home B&B is the second mansion on the left.
