Country Place Caramel French Toast

Serves: 8Ingredients:
- 1 stick Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Corn Syrup
- One Loaf French Bread
- 1/4 cup Cinnamon Sugar
- 8 Eggs
- 2 cups Milk
Steps:
- Spray a 9 X 13 inch pan with Pam
- Cut French Bread into 16 slices approximately 3/4 inch each
- Melt Butter and blend in Brown Sugar and Corn Syrup. Stir over medium heat until boiling. Boil for 1 minute at full rolling boil.
- Remove mixture from heat. Pour into pan. Spread to all corners.
- Place one layer of bread on top of caramel. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar lightly. Place second layer of bread on top. Pour Egg Mixture over all. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Next morning -- bake at 375 for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
