Ginger Waffles / Lemon Curd Sauce

- 2 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
Steps:
- Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In a bowl, beat the egg yolks, add the milk and then add the sifted dry ingredients.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg whites to a thick foam and add them gently to the preparation. Your batter is ready. Cook your waffles following the instructions of appliance.
- Serve you waffles hot, immeditately after cooking. Drizzle lemon sauce over top, garnish with whip cream;slice of twisted lemon or lemon zest
