We'll take you on an imaginary journey to California Wine Country to the annual wine-tasting festival. The body of the winery owner is discovered and all of our guests are suspects in his murder. You will help to solve his murder as one of the characters in this mystery.
When you make your reservations you will receive a confirmation with your character information. This mystery is played in 3 rounds where you will be served wine, beer, cheese & snacks. We can also provide you with a map of wine and cheese factories in our area for you to enjoy during the day. We can even make dinner reservations at a local winery for you.
This is also the weekend that Breitenbach Winery holds their annual Dandelion Festival with winery tours, wine tasting, crafts, food, entertainment and more! Enjoy the festival on Friday and Saturday during the day and then participate in 'Taste for Wine & Murder' on Saturday evening.

This Father's Day weekend Garden Gate Get-A-Way B&B presents a night of music by moonlight and a picnic in our gardens! Check-in on Friday and unwind at our evening campfire. Saturday evening from 7-9 p.m. Bud Preston will appear in our gardens to play his intoxicating acoustic guitar sounds. Bud has been playing publicly for several years and was nominated for a Grammy in 2007. He combines classical & rock music, has written a series of songs about the Erie Canal, and plays both original and well-known music. Garden Gate Get-A-Way will provide each couple with a picnic consisting of a sandwiches, salad, fruit, dessert and a bottle of wine or sparkling juice to enjoy while Bud Preston is performing. Have a leisurely breakfast on Sunday before checking out.

The Scene: A Summer Barbeque. This is a cookout with a twist! You'll go back in time to 1959 where rock 'n roll, hula hoops, poodle skirts, hot rods and leather jackets set the scene. Everyone is having a good time until Tom Dooley is iced over his hot grill. Will you be the murderer? This mystery is played in rounds where you will enjoy a BBQ meal.

| Progressive Meal Tour Amish Country Weekend | | 07/16/10 - 07/18/10 | The "Grand-daddy" of all our Tours! Check-in Friday and unwind at our evening campfire. Saturday morning your adventure begins. The Progressive Meal Tour gives you most of the day to explore the back roads, passing beautiful farm lands, buggies, and scenic views. It also gives your tour guide the chance to share in detail about Amish Culture in Holmes County. 8:00 A.M. Begin with a hearty breakfast in an Amish home, followed by a visit to the historical mural, "Behalt". You'll continue on the back roads and stop for your choice of a buggy ride or tour a one room school house. There is a unique gift shop on the property. Lunch at Amish home # 2. Visit the sisters who sell hand made quilts and rugs. makes and sells their handmade baskets. You'll make a comfort stop and limited time for shopping in the village of Kidron followed by a stop at the Amish "Wal-mart" (no it isn't what you think!) and the candle maker. She will give us a demonstration and her products are for sale. The last stop will conclude the day with our main dinner and desserts at Amish home # 3. We always "look" for unique opportunities along the tour that may be happening and let you experience it first hand. End your day with another evening at the B&B Campfire. Have a leisurely breakfast before checking out on Sunday morning.
