The home's original Family's Quarters is a three bedroom, two bath suite which consists of the Solarium Suite, Bride's and Groom's rooms. Each bath features an antique claw-foot bath tub with brass accents and shower. The front gallery overlooking the avenue as well as two smaller balconies are included in the package.
The Solarium Suite offers luxury accommodations for an intimate stay for two or can be combined with the Bride¿s and Groom¿s rooms for group or family vacations that sleep up to six. A stay in the Solarium Suite will transport you back to an earlier time in New Orleans. Wrap yourself in an overstuffed leather chair and ottoman with your favorite book, sip a cocktail or swing on the front gallery as you take in the oak-lined Esplanade below, soak in the antique claw-foot tub, or nestle in the cozy antiqued-white metal bed in the Solarium alcove. The suite also features a traditional leather sofa, upholstered wingback recliner, 27¿ digital cable television, VCR and elegant private bath complete with crystal chandelier.
The Bride¿s Room features a queen-sized black iron bed with tester rails draped with lace sheers and boughs of flowers. The room has access to a small balcony which overlooks the carriageway. Guests may use either the bath located next to the Solarium parlor (if rented with the Solarium) or the hall bath next to the Groom's Room. This room is connected to the Groom¿s Room and Solarium parlor by virtue of pocket doors.
The Groom¿s Room features a queen-sized bed which was handcrafted from two original Cypress doors that once connected this room directly to the rear wing. This room carries a masculine theme with decor including weapons dating from the Civil War. Guests use the hall bath located just a few steps away at the top of the front staircase. The room has two windows with a view over the carriageway. This room is connected with the Bride¿s Room by virtue of a pocket door.
The Scarlett O¿Hara Room is decorated with Gone with the Wind memorabilia and includes a queen-sized rice bed (not pictured-bed in photo has been upgraded) and three windows which look out over the rear and side gardens. The room is located in the rear wing at the top of the rear staircase. Guests have private use of the lower level bath which features an antique clawfoot tub with shower.
Formerly known as our Honeymoon Suite or Servants' Quarters, this recently renovated suite features an exposed brick fireplace in the center of the room which separates the sleeping area from the bath/dressing area. The private in-room bath features an over-sized glass-block enclosure with dual shower heads. The room includes a queen-sized pine bed and satelite flat-panel LCD TV with DVD player. When you're not basking in the room's ambiance, enjoy the view of the lush tropical garden and pool below your very own private balcony.

The HH Whitney House provides its guests with the ultimate in southern hospitality. I recently came to New Orleans for a job interview and stayed at the HH Whitney House for two nights. Although I came to New Orleans alone, I left having made two new friends. Glen and Randy provided me with invaluable asssistance in learning about the city's neighborhoods and in locating a new place to live. They truly go above and beyond for their guests. Regardless of which room you are lucky enough to stay in, you will enjoy every moment of your stay at the HH Whitney House. it is definitely a treat!!!

My wife and I can't thank you enough Glen, Randall and Frank. Upon our arrival we immediately knew we made the "right" choice in staying at your amazingly large B & B house. Frank....your hospitality was off the charts...as well as your delicious homemade gourmet breakfast each morning! We also enjoyed the "no time-limit" jacuzzi & pool...it was peaceful and very clean. We are kinda big kids at heart and like a good secret midnight snack; so it was truly wonderful to enjoy the fresh pastries and refreshing drinks which you make available 24/7. We also give you a big A+ on the room cleanliness, bed comfort and towel/immenities replacement during our 5 day stay. Lastly, thanks on your expert suggestions on music; we enjoyed the blend of sounds and atmoshere on Frenchmen & Chartes. We were able to get a picture with a "great" jazz legend that friday night!! We hope you continue to be a "rare" find; thanks y'all again for all your true southern hospitality. We'll be back! V & C Orange County, CA

The owners made us feel like ROYALTY! This is a beautiful home! We stayed in the Servants Quarter's. The room was SO nice, with plenty of room for us to spread out. The breakfast was so good that I had to ask for the recipe! When we arrived, they sit with us and told us about the city...where to go and what not to miss. Overly helpful! It made the most of our short stay in New Orleans. Would definitely go back!
